DUAL Commercial has expanded its digital capabilities by offering a primary flood solution through their revolutionary online rating portal. These enhancements come at an exciting time due to the re-authorization of the National Flood Insurance Protection Program by Congress, which is scheduled to be completed in 2018. The removal of subsidies, increased rates, and mortgage lender acceptance will help to continue the steady growth of the private flood alternative market.
DUAL’s portal simplifies the flood application process, allowing for instant quoting with less than ten underwriting questions to answer. This bindable, premium quotation comes complete with e-signature, surplus lines and tax filing capabilities. The wholesaler can file their own E&S taxes, or have DUAL file. Primary underwriting limits have increased up to $5,000,000. Eligible properties include residential, commercial, and condominiums with deductibles as low as $2,000; higher deductibles available. This revolutionary online system can be privately labeled and set up for businesses to manage flood insurance submissions from their own retail distribution channels.
When asked about the upgrades and improved customer experience Thomas Becker, the Director of Business Development at DUAL said, “The new enhancements to the online rater make the application and binding process effortless for our wholesalers. In addition, the portal allows either DUAL Commercial or the wholesaler to file the excess & surplus lines taxes and fees. We also have increased our policy limits and broadened the scope of coverages.”
