Frank joined DUAL from German insurer Gothaer, where he has held several roles since 2012, serving most recently as Head of Liability and Financial Lines. He has also worked at HDI-Gerling Firmen und Privat Versicherung and Nassau Versicherungen.
He joined DUAL in October 2023 as Managing Director, DUAL Deutschland.

Bringing over 20 years of experience in the insurance field, Mauro Semenza has established his notable career starting in 2000 with R.I.B. Reinsurance International Brokers in the Liability department. Since joining DUAL Italia in May 2004 as an Underwriter, Mauro has progressed to roles of increasing responsibility: in 2008, he assumed the position of Underwriting Director, adding also taking the role of Sales Director in 2013.
He was appointed General Manager of DUAL Italia in 2023.

Virginio Mercurio has been leading DUAL’s Healthcare Liability internationally since 2018. With over 25 years of global experience in the insurance industry, he joined DUAL after different experiences leading Underwriting Teams in AIG, ANV Global Services and Beazley.

He was appointed Ibérica Managing Director in 2024 aside his current responsibilities within the Group.

Guillaume, based in Paris, joined DUAL from Everest where he held a variety of senior roles, most recently as Head of Financial Lines, Everest France. Prior to this he was Managing Director Continental Europe, Navigators and Chief Underwriting Officer, CAMCA, the insurance subsidiary of Crédit Agricole Group.

He was appointed DUAL France Managing Director in 2024.

Hannes joined DUAL in 2012 to open DUAL Austria which is now one of the leading Financial Lines provder in the market. In 2015, DUAL Austria became the DUAL Hub for CEEC and SEEC and Hannes’ role focuses not only on managing the Austrian business, but also expansion into CEE countries.
Hannes studied law and insurance law at the University of Graz. After finishing his studies, he worked for Vienna Insurance Group as Casualty and Financial Lines underwriter for key accounts. In 2004 he was hired by the GrECo Group, the leading broker in CEE/SEE, where he became head of liabilities and head of Financial Lines.

Aram is the Managing Director for DUAL Benelux and Head of Marine for DUAL Europe, having joined in 2023. He has 17 years of experience as an Underwriter in various roles and more than 20 years of experience in the maritime industry in loss prevention and as a claims surveyor.
In his spare time, Aram plays in a rock n roll band and regularly performs, as do his two daughters.

Kajsa joined DUAL in April 2023 and is the founder of DUAL Nordics, servicing Sweden, Norway and Denmark. Kajsa brings more than 30 years’ experience in the insurance industry in underwriting, leadership and sales roles. Previous roles include; Head of Sales for Commercial & Corporate and a member of the Commercial & Corporate management team at Trygg-Hansa/Tryg; Chief Underwriting Officer at Zurich Nordic; Head of Underwriting at Trygg-Hansa/RSA and a senior broker at Marsh.

Johan has a Bachelor’s degree in Nautical Science from Novia University in Finland and a Master of Science degree from Chalmers University of Technology in Sweden. Johan spent almost 10 years at sea as a deck officer before moving over to the insurance industry, where he has 15 years of experience. Before establishing DUAL Finland in 2015, Johan worked for Alandia Marine insurance company where he was in charge of the Finnish and Baltic accounts. DUAL Finland is today the largest MGA in Finland writing Real Estate, Commercial Combined, Cyber and Financial Lines. Johan manages a team of seven people including underwriting, claims, finance and operations.

Barry O’Dwyer is the Managing Director of DUAL Underwriting Ireland DAC, having established DUAL’s Irish business in 2015. DUAL Private Client has since grown to become one of Ireland’s principal High Net Worth insurers, specialising in private homes, jewellery, fine art, as well as luxury and high performance cars, private fleets and classic car collections. Barry has over 25 years’ experience in the industry, with 10 years in Aviva in a variety of management roles and a further 10 with Chubb, where he ran their HNW division. Outside of work, Barry likes to play golf (badly) and keep fit by running the (very) odd marathon.

Michael Wyss brings twenty years of extensive experience in the insurance industry to his role at DUAL Switzerland. He began his career as a D&O Underwriter, where he developed a solid foundation in underwriting and risk assessment. Over the years, Michael advanced to lead international teams at prominent firms, such as Tokio Marine HCC, where he played a key role in strategic development and operational leadership.
