Our understanding and technical capability enables us to underwrite challenging projects in Ocean and Inland Hull, Builders Risks, Cargo and Land-based Equipment.
Our global approach includes both facultative reinsurance and direct business, with the aim to lead, co-lead, or participate as an agreement party. We cover bluewater tonnage, including bulkers, containers, tankers, FSO/FPSO units, as well as contractors, dredgers, cable-laying vessels, and crane ships. Our appetite also includes cruise and passenger vessels, tugs, barges, support and supply vessels, research vessels with overboard equipment, floating fish farms, towages, and delivery voyages.
With a global approach offering both facultative reinsurance and direct business, we aim to lead, co-lead, or participate as an agreement party. Our risk appetite includes builders risk, newbuild, refit, and SRL projects, with interest in all types of tonnage. We focus primarily on yachts, offshore vessels, research vessels, cruise ships, and naval vessels, both surface and submarine, as well as delivery voyages and associated cargo risks.
Our inland hull coverage focuses on European continental vessels, particularly larger fleets. We cover contracting vessels, cargo-carrying vessels, river cruise vessels, inland ferries, tugs, and barges.
Designed mainly for the Dutch market, our land equipment coverage offers direct insurance with risk selection based on client experience and proven profitability. We focus on clients with higher deductibles, solid technical management, and strong maintenance philosophies. Our risk appetite includes heavy lift equipment, agricultural machinery, rental and lease equipment, mobile and port cranes, contractor's equipment, and excavators.
Our cargo coverage is primarily for Dutch and Benelux clients, focusing on direct insurance. We cover all-risk transit and storage risks with a wide risk appetite.
